I put my blog on hold last fall to work on getting my website up and running, but since I'm still working on that I decided it was time to get back to work here. Urban Niceties is on Facebook with fans, random posts, and more and more regular posts. "Like" Urban Niceties on Facebook and let's get to know each other better!

I certainly hope so! I am the Decoration Committee Chair for this event and it is going to be AWESOME!!! The Kentucky Derby on big screens, horses, roses, food, beer, wine, and mint juleps! Truthfully, I'm a little overwhelmed right now, but oh so excited!

A little inspiration....

Urban Niceties is an idea that stems from my love of decorating, flowers, and throwing a great party. For several years now I have been the go to girl when friends need help with weddings, baby showers, or decor dilemmas. After getting my husband through law school and the bar exam we decided it was time for me to pursue the things I love (besides my wonderful husband of course). I am starting my little venture with Weddings by Urban Niceties, offering full service wedding coordination and floral and event design. I'm still working on a logo and business cards, but I believe I'm off to a good start. Wish my luck!
